In August 2016 I was fortunate enough to attend the Celebration of Craftsmanship exhibition, the prize for winning the Alan Peters Award for Excellence for my 'Oak Within' sideboard. Between dropping the piece off and turning up for the first day of the exhibition, to my surprise I found out that I had also won the Best use of British Timber award! So much more than I could have hoped for but thrilled to have had the opportunity to win two highly respected and prestigious awards. The perfect way to start my career in fine woodworking.
